We’ve got great news to announce! This year Bitergia is preparing a workshop in Portland for any professional related with software development. Meet the 100% open source software development analytics platform and discover why Bitergia Analytics can make a difference with your competitors.
We have been working very hard to have everything ready for May (new website, more data sources supported in our technlogy stack, and a little surprise). Our team was presenting a lot of that in two main conferences during May:
- Community Leadership Summit (AKA: CLS), where we participated in several sessions related with community metrics for Open Source and Inner Sourcing initiatives and we managed the FLOSS Community Metrics meeting.
- OSCON, where we had our first time ever booth there, and a talk about code review process metrics
Our main target for the week was to present an update of our technology stack (GrimoireLab), our partnership program and a new try yourself demo for analyzing GitHub organizations or personal public repositories: Cauldron.io
We are more than happy with the results

After the Community Leadership Summit and the Free / Libre Open Source Community metrics meeting, OSCON was the last event in Portland where we had the chance to show the kind of things we do at Bitergia.
It has been an intense July, with 10 days in Portland participating in 3 interesting events:
Community Leadership Summit, with multiple tracks and some of them focus on community metrics
Free / Libre Open Source Software Community Metrics meeting, hosted by Puppet Labs and with very interesting talks and presentations about why, what and how to measure community driven software development
OSCON, where despite our participation on Open Cloud Day we had very interesting conversations and meetings with people interested on software development metrics and how we are working with our customers
So, we will write 3 posts during next weeks to brief each event and the experiences we had there… Meanwhile, the photos have been already posted in our Google Plus profile. Stay tunned!
